The Chapman lab is excited to welcome its first graduate student, Shan Chen! Shan joins us from China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, China, and is also a member of Prof. Anyin Li's group. Shan will be studying metal-ligand binding both computationally and experimentally, giving her a unique insight. She likes running and badminton in her free time. We're sure to see some great research from her, so stay tuned. Welcome Shan!
Also new to the group is undergraduate student Dylan Grazier! Dylan is a freshman in the chemistry department, with an enthusiastic interest in fundamental chemical physics. He will be studying the electronic structure and quantum dynamics of substituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. He's an avid skateboarder and enjoys cooking Mexican food and reading in his free time. We're looking forward to watching him grow as a research scientist. Welcome Dylan!
